Asset alarm history
The Alarms tab on an asset's detail page shows the list of alarm events that occurred on that specific asset — not the rules themselves (those are configured at the template level, see Alarm rules).
What the list shows
For each event you see:
- the name of the alarm rule that triggered it;
- the severity (e.g. warning, critical);
- the status: active, acknowledged, or resolved;
- the value that triggered the alarm and its threshold;
- the start/end timestamps and the event's duration.
Filters
You can filter the list by status and by specific alarm rule, which is useful when an asset has many rules configured at the template level.
Acknowledging an alarm
Acknowledging an alarm signals to the rest of the team that someone is handling it, without necessarily resolving it. The status moves from "active" to "acknowledged" until the condition returns to normal (at which point it moves to "resolved").
Viewing context in the trend
From each row in the list you can open the asset's Trend centered on the moment of the event, to understand what happened before and after the alarm.
