Proposed actions and confirmation

When you ask the assistant to do something that changes your Space (create an asset, a dashboard, an alarm rule, etc.), the assistant does not execute the action directly: it proposes it to you as a confirmation card summarizing what would be done.

How it works

  1. Describe what you want to do in natural language.
  2. The assistant prepares an action proposal and shows it in a confirmation card, with details (e.g. which template, which fields, which template will be affected if you're creating an alarm rule or dashboard).
  3. You can confirm (the action is executed) or cancel.
  4. Only after your explicit confirmation is the action actually applied to your Space.

Why it works this way

This mechanism ensures you always stay in control: the assistant can propose, but does not decide for you. This is especially important for actions with wide impact, such as creating an alarm rule or dashboard at template level (which, as explained in Creating dashboards and rules from the asset's detail page, affect all assets of that template).

Usage indicator

The assistant panel also shows a token/request usage indicator, useful for understanding how much you're using this feature.
