Managing members, roles and permissions

From Settings → Users (requires Admin role) you can manage all users in your Space.

Available roles

RoleDescription
AdminFull access: managing templates, alarm rules, dashboards, users, billing and settings.
SupportCan view templates, assets and rules to assist customers, without being able to modify them.
CustomerEnd user who manages their own assets and personal dashboards, without access to global settings.

Goals for this page

  • Explain how to change an existing user's role and the consequences (e.g. what happens when an admin is demoted).
  • Explain the relationship between global role and membership in specific organizations/groups.
  • Explain how to remove a user from the Space.
